The Courses You Get
Computer Nitrox
Diving on enriched air gives you longer bottom time and shorter waits between dives, so you get more out of every tank. It's the single most popular add-on after Open Water for a reason.
Advanced Buoyancy
This one dials in your control and trim. You'll hover exactly where you want, kick less, breathe easier, and use less air. It's the difference between fighting the water and gliding through it.
Underwater Navigation
Learn to read your compass and the natural landmarks around you so you can find a site and get back to the boat on your own, without depending on a guide to lead the way.
Night / Low Vis
Diving after dark opens up an ocean most divers never see. You'll learn to handle a light, stay oriented, and stay calm and comfortable when visibility drops.

Classes Offered
The Poseidon package automatically comes with Computer Nitrox, Advanced Buoyancy, Underwater Navigation, and Night/Low Vis. If you're already certified in Computer Nitrox, we can swap in Altitude so you're not paying for a card you already hold.
The other specialties can be swapped for any $199 course on our list, including Full Face Mask, Search & Recovery, Underwater Photographer, and DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle). Just let us know what you'd like when you register and we'll set it up.

Can I substitute a class?
Yes. If you already hold your Computer Nitrox certification, we'll swap in Altitude instead. The other specialties can each be swapped for another $199 course from our list, such as Full Face Mask, Search & Recovery, Underwater Photographer, or DPV (Diver Propulsion Vehicle). Let us know when you sign up and we'll set it up.
Do I need to be certified before I start?
Yes. You'll need your Open Water certification first, since the specialties build on those skills. You complete the Poseidon courses after Open Water.
Do I have to pay all at once?
The package price applies when all four courses are purchased together in a single payment. That's what makes the $137 savings possible.
When can I start, and how do classes work?
Spots fill up fast, especially around Open Water class dates, so it's worth booking early. Give us a call and we'll find dates that fit your schedule.
Do these count toward SDI Advanced Diver or Master Diver?
They do. Poseidon's four specialties put you well down the path to SDI Advanced Diver and Master Diver, which also asks for a number of logged dives. Give us a call and we'll map out exactly what's left for you.
