Dive Arizona runs regular guided dive charters out to Cabinsite Cove, led by our dive professionals who know the site well and will make sure you get the most out of every dive.

Do I need to be certified to join a guided charter at Lake Mohave? Yes — a valid open water certification is required. Not certified yet? Ask us about our SDI Open Water Diver course and we'll get you on the water.

What's included in the charter price? The charter fee covers your guided dives with a Dive Arizona dive professional. Equipment rental is available but is not included in the charter price and is booked separately.

Can I rent equipment through Dive Arizona? Yes. We offer full scuba equipment rentals at the shop. Let us know when you book that you'll need gear and we'll have it ready to go.

What gear do I need to bring? You'll need a wetsuit, mask, fins, BCD, regulator, and a dive computer or watch. Renting from us? We'll sort the details when you book. Bring your certification card and logbook.

How far is Cabinsite Cove from Queen Creek? Cabinsite Cove is roughly a 4.5 hour drive from Queen Creek. It's a day trip worth making, the water quality alone sets it apart from most local dive sites.

What's the water like at Lake Mohave? Lake Mohave is fed by the Colorado River and is known for its clarity. Water temperature varies by season, so reach out before your charter and we'll give you a current conditions rundown so you can pack the right wetsuit.

What's there to see at Cabinsite Cove? Our dive pros will walk you through that in the site briefing before you get in. Part of what makes a guided dive worth it is having someone in the water who can actually show you what's down there rather than just describe it.
