Roatan All-Inclusive Dive Trip: Mayan Princess
NOVEMBER 28 – DECEMBER 5, 2026 · 15 DIVES · MESOAMERICAN REEF
Roatan sits on the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second-largest reef system in the world, and the reef runs so close to shore that boat rides are short, conditions stay calm, and the diving starts fast. Walls, coral canyons, sea turtles, eagle rays, reef sharks, and December sitting right in the window when whale sharks pass through. All of it fully all-inclusive at the Mayan Princess on West Bay Beach, with the dive boat steps from your room.
🌴 For Non-Divers
Roatan works for mixed groups because non-divers have real options, not just a beach to wait on:
- The resort itself, four restaurants, two pools, a spa, kayaks, and paddleboards, a full vacation on its own.
- Snorkel the reef right off the beach, the same reef system the divers are exploring below.
- Island excursions, the sloth and monkey sanctuary, ATV jungle tours, zip-lining, and catamaran cruises.
- West End Village, a short ride away for local restaurants, bars, and Caribbean street life.

Frequently asked questions
What certification do I need to dive on this trip?
Open Water Diver certification or higher from any recognized agency. If you're not yet certified, call (480) 881-4013, there's still time to complete an Open Water course before the trip.
Is this trip truly all-inclusive?
Yes. Three meals a day, premium drinks, 15 guided dives, one night dive, and airport transfers are all included. Not included: airfare, nitrox, the optional shark dive, marine park fees, and gratuities.
Will we see whale sharks?
No operator can promise a sighting, they're wild animals following their own patterns. Late November through February is one of the better windows for whale sharks in Roatan's waters, so the chance is real. It depends on the ocean.
What is the shark dive on December 4?
An optional dive at Cara a Cara, a 70-foot plateau on Roatan's south side where Caribbean reef sharks naturally gather. It's not baited. It's an additional cost, and December 4 is otherwise a free day for anyone who skips it.
Is nitrox available?
Yes, on-site at Mayan Divers for certified nitrox divers at an additional cost. Not certified yet? Dive Arizona offers the SDI Computer Nitrox course, call (480) 881-4013 to schedule it before the trip.
I don't dive. Is this trip worth it for me?
Yes. The Mayan Princess sits on one of the Caribbean's top beaches with four restaurants, two pools, a spa, kayaks, and nightly entertainment. Off the resort: snorkeling, a wildlife sanctuary, ATV tours, zip-lining, West End Village, and catamaran excursions.
How do flights work?
Roatan's airport (RTB) takes direct and connecting flights from major US hubs, usually through Houston, Miami, or Atlanta. Airfare isn't included, book your own to RTB. Airport transfers to and from the Mayan Princess are included once you land.
What is the refund policy?
The $400 deposit is non-refundable. 50% of additional payments are refundable up to September 1, 2026. No refunds after that date. Travel insurance covering cancellation is strongly recommended.
