Emergency response
Be the person who knows what to do
CPR, first aid, AED use, and emergency oxygen are skills you hope never to need and are glad to have. Our FRTI courses are hands-on, and no prior experience is required.
Not sure which course you need?
These courses are short, friendly, and open to everyone. Pick the one that fits, or call and we will help you choose.
CPR, First Aid and AED
Learn what to do until help arrives, for adults, children, and infants. No prior training needed, and the skills carry over to home, work, and the dock.
Oxygen Administration
Emergency oxygen is the first response to a dive injury. This course shows you how to set it up and use it so you are ready if a buddy needs it.
Instructor Course
Ready to teach these skills to others? The FRTI Instructor Course trains you to run CPR and first aid classes of your own.
Questions we hear a lot
Do I need any experience?
No. These courses start from the beginning and are taught hands-on, so you practice each skill before you leave.
Which course should I take first?
Start with CPR, First Aid and AED. If you dive, add Oxygen Administration so you are ready to help a buddy.
Do I need these for dive professional courses?
Divemaster and above ask for current CPR, first aid, and oxygen provider training, so these courses are a good early step on the professional path.
Can I take these if I do not dive?
Yes. The CPR and first aid course is for everyone, whether you dive or not.
